Delhi - Orchha
We rise early to catch the first train heading south to Madhya Pradesh. After a scenic rail journey through the plains of central India, we arrive around midday in Orchha, a peaceful riverside town steeped in medieval charm. After lunch and check-in at the hotel, we set off to explore Orchha’s temples, cenotaphs, and palace ruins. This quiet town, once a powerful Rajput kingdom, remains one of India’s hidden gems.
